Airport Logistics
It’s quite difficult to get an Uber/Lyft from the YUL airport right now. The pickup location is hard to find and a bit far, and it can take a long time (30+ minutes) to get a ride. We recommend instead taking either a taxi or the 747 bus. A taxi will cost about 50 CAD (36 USD) to get directly to the venue or the Griffintown Hotel. The bus costs 11.25 CAD (8 USD) and will bring you to the Lionel-Groulx metro station, which is a 15 minute walk from the venue and a 7 minute drive from the Griffintown Hotel.
To take a taxi, go to the yellow ‘Taxi’ area when you walk out of your terminal.
To take the bus, go to the blue area to the right of the taxi area, and buy a 747 bus ticket from a kiosk or an employee (it will be 11.25 CAD). Once you have a ticket, follow the signs to the bus station. It’s outside and to the right of where you bought your ticket.
Where to stay
We haven’t reserved a room block anywhere, so feel free to stay wherever you like.

Location: 1222 Rue des Bassins, Griffintown
Cost: ~250 CAD (177 USD) a night
It’s a 10-minute car ride to the venue, or a 30-minute walk along the Lachine Canal (which is very pretty!)
